Research

Research into improvement and innovation in land transport is being carried out by many organisations in New Zealand as well as overseas.

Each year the NZ Transport Agency funds both industry-generated research and directed research into land transport. The programme is managed in accordance with the NZTA Research Strategy. The funds are contestable and applications are accepted within one or more key topic areas. The reports are published.
