Community focused activities
The NZ Transport Agency requires that councils obtain funding for community focused activities through the NLTP and that LTPs include activities that
- better link the management of transport infrastructure assets with the meeting of user needs
- ensure that the land transport networks provide for and prioritise access to all modes of transport
- include communities in delivering land transport activities.
