Dividing the project into sections

Section 3.4 of the Economic evaluation manual - volume 1 - 2008 (190 KB) explains that, for the purposes of economic evaluation the road should be divided into:

  • Road sections over which the terrain, road width, road roughness, speed limit and traffic volume are essentially constant, and/or
  • Intersections.

Data needs

For each road section and intersection the following data is collected as required:
