Using the site without a mouse

The following access keys have been set up to take you to commonly used pages or to bypass navigational links on the pages.

To use a shortcut key, use the appropriate key combination for your browser, which are listed below:

  • Internet Explorer on Windows: press ALT + an access key then press Enter
  • Firefox on Windows: press SHIFT + ALT + an access key
  • Opera: hold down the Shift key and press Escape, release both keys, then press the number of the accesskey
  • Safari and Omniweb (Mac): hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.

Adjusting the text size

This site has been designed so that you are able to adjust the size of the text on screen.

Browser Method

  • Internet Explorer 5+
    • On a PC, select the View menu, then Text Size, and then your chosen size
    • On a Mac, select the View menu, then Text Zoom, and then your chosen percentage.
  • Netscape 6+ and Mozilla
    • On a PC, hold down Ctrl and press + or - to alter the text size
    • On a Mac, select the View menu, then Text Zoom, and then your chosen percentage.

Accessing documents

Most information on this website is provided on standard web pages.

Some documents are provided as PDF. To open and print PDF files, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available free from the Adobe website.
