Summary

An assessment of the key road safety issues in a local authority area - used for targeting actions to reduce casualties.

Road safety issues reports are produced annually, by NZTA, who comment on road safety data, highlight issues and identify ways to reduce the number of road deaths and injuries. The reports are for the year ending (YE) 31 December.

2009 and earlier: Individual reports for each territorial authority (TA).

2010 and later: TA information is consolidated into regional reports, to offer a wider regional perspective.
