Summary

The economic evaluation manual (EEM) contains the detailed procedures to be used in the economic efficiency evaluation of activities submitted to the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) for funding.

Economic efficiency is one of the three assessment factors considered in NZTAs funding allocation process, which is described in part G1.3 of the NZTAs Planning, programming and funding manual. Economic efficiency analysis is also used when selecting between alternatives and options to ensure the best possible use is made of the available resources.

The economic evaluation manual is made up of a number of volumes.
