Bridge manual

This manual is to foster best practice and establish guidelines for the design and evaluation of bridges carrying road and/or pedestrian traffic. Bridge technology is an area of ongoing research and refinement and the manual is reviewed from time to time to incorporate important corrections and/or amendments.

Competitive pricing procedures 2002 - vol 2 (Public passenger transport)

Volume 2 of the Competitive Pricing Procedures manual provides a framework that ensures competitive processes are followed in contracting for passenger transport services. A replacement for the manual is being prepared as part the review of all procurement procedures and will be available during the second half of 2008.

Competitive pricing procedures manual, volume 1 1997 - physical works & professional services

Volume 1 of the competitive pricing procedures (CPP) manual contains procedures approved for use when purchasing roading related physical works and professional services. The manual also provides guidance on preparation of alternative procedures. Economic evaluation manual - current volumes

Economic evaluation manual 2005 - vol 2 (demand management & transport services)

Volume 2 of the Economic evaluation manual is to be used for evaluation of demand management and transport services proposals (including, freight transport services, new and improved passenger transport services, walking and cycling, travel behaviour change, parking and land use, pricing and financial incentives).

Economic evaluation manual 2007- Volume 1, Amendment 1 (road infrastructure)

This manual describes the procedures to be used for economic evaluation of road infrastructure activities submitted to the NZTA for funding. It is to be used only for evaluations started before 1 September 2008. Both simplified and full procedures are included in the manual.

The programme and funding manual is comprehensive and defines all eligible types of work, the procedures used to submit funding applications, to make ALTP recommendations, and for NZTA's financial assistance policies. It is updated each year to reflect changes to programming and funding policies and procedures made after consultation with approved organisations.
