Summary

Fatalities and fatal crashes are updated daily by the Ministry of Transport. NZTA uses the data to produce weekly road toll charts.

The Weekly Road Toll Analysis Tool makes it possible to

  • look at fatalities and fatal crashes at a national / regional / TA level
  • compare actuals with targets for both the current calendar and financial years
  • obtain a copy of the raw data
  • generate images (jpg's) of tables / graphs for use in a report

Important information

  • ensure your Excel settings allow Macros to be run on your computer
  • for ease of access this 'Tool' may be downloaded
  • the 'Tool' it will only run when you are connected to the internet because it retrieves the data from the internet. This is how we ensure that you get the latest road toll data.
