Theme audit of guard rails

In 2006, the NZ Transport Agency (formerly Land Transport NZ) reviewed a sample of local authority guardrail and terminal installations to survey the types of guardrails and terminals in use; assess their standard of installation; the level of knowledge of managers, designers and assemblers of guardrails and terminals; and assess the standards applied to design, assembly, and maintenance.

The report presents the finding of the review and gives guidance for owners and maintainers.
